Your responsibilities

Leadership

  • Create and foster a respectful and inclusive team environment to ensure a supportive, productive, and fun experience for all team members.
  • Engage team members by helping them understand how their work supports the success of the store and Mammut.
  • Support in hiring and building a diverse team that includes team members with various experiences, backgrounds, and skillsets.
  • Support ongoing learning and development of staff, by providing direct feedback, coaching, & mentoring.
  • Address employee concerns or issues, including knowing when to partner with internal support to take appropriate action.

Guest Experience

  • Lead and train staff in providing an exceptional guest experience.
  • Mentor supporting team members by providing feedback and coaching to address improvement of guest connection and technical product knowledge.
  • Provide retail floor leadership, including making in-the-moment decisions to maintain efficiency and effectiveness of retail floor coverage and operations.
  • Demonstrate professionalism when resolving guest feedback and addressing emergent issues, helping to “make it right” for guests.

Operations

  • Partner with store manager to review business data and metrics, including sales tracking, inventory planning, and people strategy.
  • Maintain strategic product presentation/visual merchandising by ensuring product recovery, restock (e.g., pant wall, size store), destock, or minor visual merchandising changes are accomplished.
  • Lead receiving and space planning both BOH and on the sales floor.
  • Open and close the store in accordance with the opening and closing procedures.
  • Understand and adhere to safety policies, laws, regulations, and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.

Your profile

  • Education: High School or secondary diploma equivalent or above
  • 2 years+ of retail/ guest service experience, or leadership experience
  • You are an outdoor enthusiast & have a passion for our brand activities and lifestyle.
  • If your ideal job is to “align who you are with what you do”
  • You have a flexible schedule that allows you to work weekends, evenings, and peak retail times. 
  • Strong planning and organizational skills. Performs repeatable processes with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Look for improvement and lead change as needed.
  • Ability to understand, assess, & problem solve by leveraging technical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Pay
  • Mammut is committed to fair, equitable, and transparent compensation. Compensation will be determined by your relevant work experience, education, certifications, & skills.
  • The salary range for this role in Castle Rock, Colorado is $52,000 - $60,000. FT >30+ HRS
